Day 001 (Monday, January 31, 2005)(Tuesday, September 07, 2004): The studio is to begin an inquiry into the diverse aspects of International Boulevard, East 14th and Mission Boulevard. This is a major surface artery running between Lake Merritt in Oakland, CA to Mission San Jose near San Jose, CA.
Initial Site Visit: Please document the site within the follwing constraints:
One PDF document formatted so that there are 16 images, 2 inches by 2 inches in a grid of 4 images by 4 images centered on an 8 and a half by 11 document.

Day 005 (Tuesday, September 21, 2004): Assign production mapping. The production mapping is a visual diagram that will chart the possible content of the research question as well as the means and methods for its exhibition. The production mapping should be formatted (for future publication purposes) for a vertical (portrait) 8.5 by 11 inch image with final results published as a pdf document.
